Read the rules carefully before adopting a Kirby!
✦ 1. Choose a Kirby!
- Pick a Kirby that speaks to your heart!
- You can only adopt one Kirby per website—choose wisely!
✦ 2. A Website is Required
- You must have a website to adopt a Kirby.
- Social media pages or other non-website platforms do not count.
✦ 3. Link Back Requirement
- You must include a link back to this website before adopting your Kirby.
- The code should be placed in a visible location on your website. Hidden links will not be accepted. What does that mean? Please make sure the code is located only on one of the following pages:
1. Your Home/Index page
2. Your Splash/Landing page
3. Your Cliques/Webrings page (as long as it’s clearly linked from the index or splash page)
That’s it — nowhere else, please. It can be incredibly frustrating to hunt around for the code hidden on less obvious pages like “About Me” or “Links.” The whole point of a webclique is to make it super easy for visitors to navigate between sites.
✦ 4. Provide a Valid Email Address
- You must submit a working email address when adopting a Kirby.
- If registering multiple websites, each website must have a unique email address.
✦ 5. No Hotlinking!
- Do not hotlink the Kirby images from this website.
- Download and upload the images to your own server.
✦ 6. No Harmful or Offensive Content
- Websites containing hate speech, racism, sexism, or any other offensive material will not be accepted.
- Keep the community friendly and welcoming!
✦ 7. Respect the Community
- Be kind, respectful, and considerate to other members of the community.
- This is meant to be a fun, positive experience for everyone, so please contribute to a welcoming environment!
✦ 8. Prove You Read the Rules
- To show that you’ve read the rules, include the word \"Dreamland\" in your comments when you submit your website.
